If you’re interested in exhibiting photos or artwork at the new Arcangel Gallery at the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens, check out the Arcangel Gallery Application & Guidelines.
The aim of the Arcangel Gallery at the Botanical Gardens is to display photography and/or artwork that reflects first, the Botanical Gardens and its horticulture residents, then nature in general and Western New York life and architecture. First preference will be given to applicants that highlight the Botanical Gardens.
The gallery was named for Brent D. Arcangel, who died at age 23 in a car crash caused by a driver who fell asleep at the wheel. The space was dedicated by his parents, Wayne D. and Corrine Arcangel of Hamburg, who are the benefactors of the gallery.
Michael Mandolfo, a local award-winning photographer, helped to design the exhibit space. His show, Botanicals: An Alternate View, is currently on display.
The gallery is open to the public daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and open to all after-hours events.
