Where can I purchase Lovage Plants in WNY?

  2. Connie on May 27, 2014 at 4:26 pm

Irene, thanks for your question. You really need to contact the garden centers directly to see what they have in stock.

  3. Jim on April 12, 2015 at 5:07 pm

    Ornamental grasses.

where may I buy ornamental grasses in a variety of species in Buffalo that are not outrageously expensive?

  4. Connie on April 13, 2015 at 7:51 am

Jim, whenever you want to know what garden centers have a particular plant in stock, it’s best to contact them directly. When businesses carry live plants, their stock changes from week to week as well as seasonally. If you don’t find contact information in a listing above, you can click on a link in a listing to go to the business’s site for more information. I hope that helps!

Hi there, I have a unique woodland property in Youngstown and I am searching for a “gardener” to help me plant and maintain my plantings throughout the growing season. I don’t want a landscaper or crew, I just want one person who would like to do real gardening with me on a consistent basis. I have a friend in Lewiston who is looking for the same type of help, so between us we could offer plenty of work in spring / summer / fall for a person who would be interested! Do you have any ideas or resources that could help us?
    Thanks and love this site!

  6. Jean Bacon on February 1, 2016 at 1:12 pm

Our garden club is looking for a speaker who can speak about organic tea. Can you recommend someone?

    Thank you,
    Jean

  7. Connie on February 1, 2016 at 1:18 pm

Jean, if you’re talking about tea plants, I would recommend contacting Lockwood’s Greenhouses. They have sold tea plants in the past. Also, David Clark can speak on a number of horticultural topics. If you’re talking about drinking tea, I’m not sure what to suggest. I hope that helps.

  8. Cindy Schaus on April 16, 2016 at 3:47 pm

  9. Connie on April 16, 2016 at 5:56 pm

  10. Connie on April 16, 2016 at 6:00 pm

Cindy, here’s a better response to your question, I think. You’re looking for a business that does spring and fall clean-up or garden maintenance. Does that help?
