Let us help you find the right plant for the right spot from our selection of locally sourced, hard-to-find plants, along with organic and heirloom varieties of plants. Our nature/gardening gift wares will easily find a place in your home or garden. Located in the diverse Five Points neighborhood, we are a proud sponsor of the Buffalo Garden Walk and eight-time winner “Best Small Garden Store” of Buffalo Spree magazine.

Get seeds & supplies at Urban Roots

With over 250 varieties of non-GMO vegetable, flower and herb seeds—many heirloom and organic—you are sure to be inspired to try something different in your gardens. Seed-starting supplies and soils are available for those seeds that need to be started early. Remember to read your seed package thoroughly so you are starting them at the correct time. Our last frost date is approximately May 10, so plan accordingly.

Soon the winter will be over and our yard will be filled with plant material, garden art and more. We have expanded our native plant offerings along with more shade lovers than ever before. We will once again have our heirloom vegetable program available with over 30 organically grown varieties to choose from. Come check out all we have to offer.
