Lessons from Nature‘s Annual Perennial and Native Plant Sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 22 at 170 Pine St., East Aurora.

Amanda’s Gardens and Lessons from Nature will offer the largest selection of natives in WNY. There will be perennials and natives for sun to shade.

Lessons from Nature (LFN) has been helping gardeners have more successful and sustainable gardens while showing them how to save time and money for over 16 years.

Lyn Chimera, a lifelong gardener and Master Gardener offers:

  • On-site consulting and coaching services including:
    • Garden maintenance, seasonal preparations, dividing and transplanting,soil and fertilizing, composting and mulch
    • Pruning –coaching session where we work together and you learn how to do it yourself
    • Planning garden improvements and design including how to know what plants will do well
  •  Garden club and group presentations on over 20 topics including Native Plants, Eco-Friendly Gardening, Container Gardening, and Pruning. See a complete list of presentations here. 
  • Small-group classes on making hypertufa (light weight concrete) planters, concrete stepping stones or birdbaths and draped concrete planters
  • LFN annual perennial and native plant sale. It always takes place the Saturday before Memorial Day in May.
