Open Gardens start this Thursday and Friday, and six garden walks will be held this weekend.

Tip: When you visit these gardens, take note of things that interest you, such as the flowers flowing out of the picture frame in the photo here.

See it in the garden of Courtney Gorman, who will share her landscape on the Snyder-CleveHill Garden View.

“One of my best friends, Sandy Hoffman, made this easel for me out of scrap tree wood she had last year,” Gorman said. The container of flowers sets on a shelf.

Open Gardens

One hundred beautiful gardens are open to you for free on Thursdays and Fridays––and there are no crowds! Most of the gardens are generous in size and can be found across Erie and Niagara Counties.

To see the hours that they’re open and their locations, you need to buy the Tours of Open Gardens Guide. The guidebook is available at various garden centers and on gardensbuffaloniagara.com/shop. (There isn’t an app for Open Gardens 2023 season.)
