This is part of the Coleus & Creatures Exhibit. You could replicate this in your garden using twigs and dried plant stems for the nest and plastic eggs or river rocks for the eggs. What would hatch out of the eggs? A bird? A fairy? Photo courtesy Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens

With three exhibits going on at once, there’s a lot to see at the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens, 2655 South Park Ave., Buffalo.

Gardening tip: It’s fun to stroll through the exhibits, and while you’re doing that, keep your eye open for something you can replicate in your own garden.
