The Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens
will host Horticulture V classes from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays starting February 20.

The classes will be held on Zoom.

David Clark, horticulturist & CNLP, will teach. He is wonderfully entertaining and informative.

The topics are:

  • Houseplant Care and Cultivation, February 20
  • Rain Gardens, February 27
  • All About Roses, March 6
  • Hostas and Hydrangeas, March 13
  • Vegetables and Organic Gardening, March 27

The fees are $25 per class or $150 per series for the general public and $22.50 per class or $135 per series for members of the Botanical Gardens.

You can take Horticulture V without taking any of the previous classes.

These classes are great for beginners as well as gardeners wishing to brush up on their skills. An optional supply list will be posted online for those who wish to supplement their instruction with hands-on materials. All adult classes and workshops are recorded and are available for one week after the class.

See details and register here.

The next session, Horticulture VI classes will be held online on Saturdays starting April 10.

Check out the Botanical Gardens’ other classes and workshops here.
