I’m taking a short break, but I’ll be back on Jan. 19 with a new edition of Buffalo-NiagaraGardening.com.
As usual, it will contain great garden tips, events and everything you need to know about gardening in Western New York.
We gardeners are already looking forward to next spring–and the days are getting longer!
And there’s more to be optimistic about. We’re still in the midst of a pandemic, but two vaccines for COVID-19 have been approved. That’s hopeful news! Let’s keep wearing our masks and do what we can to keep ourselves and others safe.
Gardeners are optimistic, wonderful people. They encourage beginners, share advice gently and listen attentively.
In 2021, let’s use those attributes in other parts of our lives as well. Let’s build up the people around us instead of tearing them down. Let’s be humble and try to understand others. Let’s listen as well as speak. Let’s be kind.
Have a happy and safe New Year.
I am especially eager to get into the garden this year. Enjoy the planning time!
Thanks for a year of great gardening tips, everything needed for gardening in WNY and events during COVID. Your optimism for all is appreciated. Enjoy your Holidays and hope you stay healthy.
I love all these happy thoughts! Thanks so much.
Merry Christmas Connie! Wonderful magazine. Can’t wait until next year to start on my garden again!
Happy Holidays and we will be happy to see you again in the New Year.
My first seed catalog arrived 2 weeks ago. I’m saving it for a snowy day in January.
Lovely thoughts, Connie! I look forward to a whole year of practicing and fine-tuning those aspirations!
