I’m so happy to unveil the new features of the Buffalo-NiagaraGardening.com website.

It’s sleeker and less cluttered, so you should be able to find what you’re looking for more easily.

I hope you like the large photo with the main feature article. Below that are this week’s other articles.

It’s presented this way because readers requested a way to see the previous week’s articles. Sometimes people threw out my email before they read an issue and there was no easy way for them to find the articles they missed.

Now you can just scroll down the homepage and see previous articles presented in chronological order. To see even older articles, go all the way to the bottom of the page and click on page 2 (or 3 or 4 or 5). You can see all of the articles I have published.

Another way to search past articles is by clicking on the Popular Topics. To see even more topics, click on All Topics.

If there’s something specific you’re looking for, use the search box, now located at the top of the page. Type in one or more keywords and hit Enter.

Something else you’ll notice are my new banner ads. I want to connect you with local gardening businesses that offer great products and services, and I hope this will help me do that. I hope to add new advertisers in the coming year.

Thanks for all your past suggestions that have helped me come up with the new features on my website. If you have more suggestions on any aspect of Buffalo-NiagaraGardening.com, please leave a comment or email me at Connie@Buffalo-NiagaraGardening.com. I’d love to hear from you.

  1. Eileen, thanks so much for your kind words! I think being able to search past articles is such a huge help. When you get a subscription with a print publication, you can see the future issues, but you can’t see what was published in the past. Making all the archived articles available to readers is a valuable asset.

  2. I especially like the ability to search past articles. Thanks for all your work and keeping us informed!

  3. Karen, I think we’re all novices! Even people who I consider experts don’t like to call themselves experts because, when it comes to gardening, there is so much to know. I’m happy learning along with everyone else.

  4. Thanks for your dedication Connie to providing us “novices” with a local site for all our gardening questions!

  5. Nice improvements I am sure this will be very helpful and in the long run make us better gardeners

  6. Linda, it’s nice to hear from you. I hope you and others will take some time to explore the site. I think there are helpful features that people might not know about.

  7. Glad my Buffalo-Niagara Gardening friend is back. I will be trying out the new features in the coming weeks. Happy New Year!

  8. So glad to see you are back! The new format looks interesting – I will no longer saw entire issues for the sake of one article. Kudos.
