People love to take photos in this creative lighting, but tripods and large crowds don’t mix. Happily, the Botanical Gardens has set aside one night just for photographers. Photo Night, which will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2, is the only night on which you can take your tripod. It’s fun being there with lots of other photographers, too. Admission is the same as for the other nights of the show; see details below.
Lumagination will take visitors on a spectacular walk through the Botanical Gardens to experience creatively themed greenhouses and interactive entertainment.
In the main Palm Dome guests will be greeted with a dramatic mix of choreographed sound and light.
The desert room presents the searing yellow sun highlighted with red and orange hues and some cowboy surprises. Next on the journey, visitors will be surrounded by lanterns of all shapes, sizes and colors, and the Wegmans Family Garden will be full of interactive fun for all ages.
In the Orchid Fairy House, guests will enter a fairy village full of magic and wonder. In the Magic Disco Room, visitors will experience rockin’ fun music and crazy fun lights.
From there, visitors find themselves in a room that will feature interactive screens that encourages everyone to play games and work together with on-screen images as well as many more surprises. After all the excitement and stimulation, guests will find a calming waterfall of light.
And finally, to cleanse away the hectic week, visitors will walk through a thunderstorm with the sounds of powerful rain and flashes of lightning.
Lumagination is produced by Luminated Landscapes, which can provide unique lighting for your home landscape.
