Communities in Bloom classes start Feb. 10 in Erie County

The 20th Annual Communities in Bloom Classes will be held by the Master Gardener Program of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Erie County.

Classes will be of interest to both beginning and veteran gardeners.

Dates, locations & topics

February 10 – Orchard Park Community Center, 4520 California Road, Orchard Park

  • Cut This Not That: Lessons in Pruning
  • Want to Start Your Own Seeds? This class will cover a variety of easy methods Including winter sowing.

February 24 – Roswell Park Community Center, 907 Michigan Ave, Buffalo

  • Gardening Tool of the Future: Your Smart Phone
  • PRISM I-Map for Mapping Invasive Species

Class times

8:30 a.m. registration / 9–11:45 a.m. class

Fees

1 day/2 classes: $20 for Master Gardeners; $25 for the public
2 days/4 classes for $35 Master Gardeners; $45 for the public
