The plant societies will be back this year at the Buffalo Style Garden Art Sale on Saturday and Sunday, June 25 and 26. Hours will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
Take your questions to the Master Gardeners of Cornell Cooperative Extension in Erie County. Learn more about popular plants from the Western New York Rose Society, Buffalo Area Daylily Society and Western NY Hosta Society. Find out how you can help butterflies from the Eastern Monarch Butterfly Farm and get tons of information about invasive species from WNY PRISM.
The big attraction will be the 50+ vendors of nature-themed items that can be displayed in a garden setting. The many mediums include sculpture, metalwork, paintings, woodwork, architectural remnants, found art, ceramics and planters.
Live music will be provided by the Panfil Brothers.
You can also enjoy the food trucks, including Sweet Melody’s, The Great Aussie Bite (Sunday only), Cheesy Chicks, and in a booth, MAC Lady Catering.
Of course, you can visit inside the conservatory at the Botanical Gardens. eTickets are recommended for all visitors (walk-ins may be turned away if visitor capacity has been met.) Most visitors spend 45 minutes-1.5 hours to complete their visit, but you are welcome to stay until the Botanical Gardens closes at 4 p.m.
Hi Sue, thanks for sharing! It is a great event.
