The 90-minute landscape tour focuses on the history and restoration of Graycliff’s historic gardens and grounds. It includes the first floor of the main house, designed by famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright.
Wright created the initial design of the landscape, and you’ll hear about the important additional designs of Ellen Biddle Shipman, a pioneering Arts and Crafts landscape designer whose classic garden designs are known throughout the country.
The tour is led by a docent who has specialized knowledge related to the plant life on the property.
Tickets are $35 for the public and $20 for students. Graycliff members also save (login online for benefits, or call Graycliff staff at 716-947-9217). Book your tour here.
Hi Connie, that’s a good question for the Master Gardeners. See contact information here. I hope that helps.
This a question unrelated to above topic but I NEED HELP.
Every year, I get these weeds that look like onions – thin upright leaves with tiny bulbs underground, sometimes with another clump of bulbs. They are really deep and goes down at least 3-6 inches and very hard to pull. Don’t know the name. Any solution other than laboriously pulling them m? Thanks.
