Lewiston Gardenfest seeks vendors, gardeners

Lewiston GardenFest is recruiting vendors as well as residents interested in showcasing their gardens. The deadline for vendors is May 1 and the deadline for gardeners is May 15.

Vendors

Businesses and vendors who sell items related to gardening, horticulture and the outdoors, including nurseries, landscapers, garden artists, and others, are encouraged to apply. Vendor applications are due by May 1 and can be downloaded here. The application fee varies from $125 – $225 based on the size of the vendor display.

Gardeners

Village and Town of Lewiston residents who are interested in showcasing their own gardens can dowload an application here. The deadline to apply is May 20.

About the event

Lewiston Gardenfest, presented by the Lewiston Garden Club, will be held Saturday, June 18 and Sunday, June 19 along Center St. in Lewiston. It is free.

The event includes gardening vendors, gardens to tour, speakers, Master Gardeners to answer your questions, a container garden contest, and activities for children.

Proceeds from the Lewiston GardenFest are used for civic beautification efforts and scholarships.

The Lewiston Garden Club marks its 95th anniversary and Lewiston gears up for its bicentennial this summer.

“We’ve been helping Lewiston bloom for 95 years and are excited to showcase our love of gardening with the entire community,” said Judy Talarico, chair, Lewiston GardenFest.
