For Mother’s Day: discounted membership to Botanical Gardens

The Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens is celebrating Mother’s Day with a special membership markdown, discounting memberships 20 percent now through May 10. And if you’re looking for gift ideas and a great place to spend Mother’s Day, May 12, the Botanical Gardens can help.

To honor the mothers in our lives, the Botanical Gardens is offering a special Mother’s Day membership markdown. Individual memberships will be discounted by 20 percent.

Memberships include year-round, free admission to the Botanical Gardens; discounts on selected classes, shows and exhibits; 10 percent discount in the gift shop and on The Great Plant Sale; 10 percent discount at selected local nurseries and garden centers; seasonal mailings, and invitations to special events.

Another great benefit of a Botanical Gardens membership is that it includes reciprocal admission benefits to nearly 300 gardens and arboretums across the country as well as in Canada and Mexico.

Memberships start as low as $28 with the discount.  Join for the first time or extend a current membership.

If you need a gift for mom this Mother’s Day, consider a gift certificate to one of the Botanical Gardens’ upcoming classes or events, such as horticulture classes, The Great Plant Sale, or watercolor classes.

Gifts for mom are also available in the Botanical Gardens Gift Shop, which will be open from 10 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. throughout Mother’s Day weekend. The Gift Shop offers many different gifts ranging from gardening essentials, unique gifts, local jewelry, flowers, plants and more.

Celebrate Mother’s Day weekend, May 11 and 12, by spending some time with mom at the Botanical Gardens.

Hours during Mother’s Day weekend will be 10 a.m. through 4:30 p.m.

General admission prices are $11 for adults, $10 for seniors (age 62 and older) $9 for students (age 13 and older), $6 for kids ages 3-12, and free for Botanical Gardens’ members and kids two and under.
