Mother’s Day is May 13, and the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens is celebrating with a Mother’s Day membership markdown. From May 1 through May 13, individual memberships will be discounted by 20 percent. It’s a great gift for someone who loves gardens.
Yes, you can buy a membership for yourself, too!
Memberships include year-round, free admission to the Botanical Gardens; discounts on selected classes, shows, and exhibits; a 10 percent discount in the gift shop and on the Great Plant Sale; seasonal mailings, and invitations to special events. You also get reciprocal admission benefits to nearly 300 gardens and arboretums across the country as well as in Canada and Mexico.
Memberships start as low as $28 with the discount. You could sign up your mother for a first-time membership or extend her membership.
Memberships are available online (use coupon code MOM2018), inside the Botanical Gardens at the admission desk, in the Gift Shop, or by calling 716-827-1584, ext. 295.
If you need a gift for mom this Mother’s Day, consider a gift certificate for one of the Botanical Gardens’ upcoming classes or events such as the Great Plant Sale, watercolor classes or oil painting classes.
Gifts for mom are also available in the Botanical Gardens’ gift shop. The gift shop offers gardening essentials, unique gifts, local jewelry, flowers, plants and more. The gift shop will also have gift certificates available.
An outing with mom is a great gift in itself. The Botanical Gardens will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. during Mother’s Day weekend. Check out the creative designs that are part of the Fairy and Gnome House Exhibit, which will continue through May 28.
Friday, May 11 is National Public Gardens Day and admission is only $1.
General admission prices for Saturday and Sunday, May 12 and 13 are $11 for adults, $10 for seniors (62+) $9 for students (13+), $6 for children ages 3-12, and free for Botanical Gardens members and children ages 2 and under.
