The Green Sun Seed Library will hold its first seed and plant swap from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 9 at Sewing Souls Studio, 356 South Elmwood Ave., between Trinity and Tupper, Buffalo. Parking is available in the rear off West Tupper. You must use the West Tupper entrance; get to it from the back via the driveway on Tupper.
It is hosted by Albert Brown and Heron E. Simmonds-Price.
You are invited to share your seeds, plants, spring dreams and gardening enthusiasm as everyone gets excited for the coming growing season. Take any seeds, seedlings, transplants, tubers, cuttings, trees, houseplants or anything you want to share, and take freely of what is offered by others. There will be no money exchanges or sales.
Please come prepared and be able to explain how your offerings are cultivated and grown. Also please water and label everything you bring.
The Green Sun offerings will include heirloom tomato and pepper plants as well as goji berry starts and a wide variety of seeds.
If you have questions, leave it as a comment on their event on Facebook.
