If you have grown some vegetables that you’re proud of, you can make sure they get the recognition that they deserve by entering them in the flower show to be held by the Kenmore Garden Club next weekend. Anyone can enter; you don’t have to be a member of the club.

The vegetable that you want to enter must have been grown by you. You can enter any vegetable. If the vegetable is large, such as regular tomatoes, you will enter one specimen, but for small vegetables, such as cherry tomatoes, take three specimens. There is no fee to enter.

Entries will be accepted from 1 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22 at Kenmore United Methodist Church, 32 Landers Rd. (corner of Landers and Delaware Roads), Kenmore.

The standard flower show, called Legends, will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23 and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24 at Kenmore United Methodist Church.

For more information, call Linda at 873-5447.
