I’m always trying to make more useful to my readers.

I know that many of you now use your phone or tablet to check your email, and I want to make sure it’s easy for you to get all the latest gardening news and tips from If you are a subscriber, this week you’ll notice that the email I sent looks different.

My aim was to make the email easier to read on those smaller devices. And if you open your email on a laptop or desktop computer, I think you’ll also find the new look attractive.

  1. Amelia, yes, your opinion does count. I want to make sure the new format still works for people using computers. Thanks so much for the feedback. Some people call this a website or blog, which is fine. I call it an online magazine because I think it’s more descriptive and maybe a little fancier, too! Thanks for your kind words!

  2. i only have a regular computer so my vote doesn’t count. i don’t see much difference, sorry. Love your photos in ALL the articles and enjoy the information. Thank You for the “magazine” (? if thats what this is considered to be…)

  4. J.J., sorry about that. If you keep the button clicked, you get notified of all the follow-up emails. Unclicking the box afterwards doesn’t do anything. But I can take you of the list of follow-up emails– and I have!

  5. OK, how do I keep this from filling my inbox with comments? I unchecked below & am getting notifications. That, I do NOT like.

  6. Great new format. Looks like the font is larger which is a plus for me≥ It’s clean and clear. Photos are brighter too.
