Spring into Gardening Education Day set in Albion

Spring into Gardening Education Day will be presented by the Master Gardeners of Orleans County Cornell Cooperative Extension from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 9 at the Orleans County 4-H Fairgrounds, 12690 State Route 31, Albion.

Admission includes a choice of four educational sessions and lunch.

The schedule is:
9 a.m. – 10 a.m.
Seeds and Bulbs for Cut Flowers
or
Herbs by Herbalty Cottage

10 a.m. -11 a.m.
Native Pollinators
or
What’s Local about Local Foods

11 a.m. – noon
Butterfly Gardens

Noon– 1 p.m.
Lunch

1 – 2 p.m.
Mystery Make-It/Take-It
or
Composting with Worms

The price is $20 for seniors, $25 general admission and $30 walk-in.

Pre-register by April 1.
