She wanted something that wasn’t greasy, but really worked and ended up creating her own solid bars of hand lotion. It worked for her, for friends and for relatives, so she started selling them last year at the store.
Gardener’s Healing Balm doesn’t contain a lot of synthetic ingredients. In fact, there are just four ingredients: coconut oil, shea butter, cocoa butter and paraffin.
To shape the bars, she uses vintage gelatin molds that were her grandmother’s.
