I’ve been getting a lot of questions lately from readers who want to know where they can buy certain plants.

Whenever you want to know what garden centers have a particular plant in stock, it’s best to contact them directly.

While some common plants might be carried by all garden centers, you’d be surprised at how widely the stock varies from shop to shop. In addition, garden centers will try out new plants each year and stop carrying other plants that don’t sell well or don’t perform well in Western New York.

And of course, the seasons and the weather play a huge role in what plants are available. The plant you want might not be in stock yet, or it might be sold out already, or you might be looking for it in the wrong season.

The only way to know who has what is to contact the garden centers directly.  To find contact information, you can:

  • Click on any of the ads on the emailed version of the magazine or click on the ads here on the Buffalo-NiagaraGardening.com website.
  • Go to our Gardening Directory.

And please let these businesses know you heard about them on Buffalo-NiagaraGardening.com!

  1. Easter seemed to be my impetus to peruse garden catalogues. I was happy to see you carry heirloom tomato plants. I really don’t like ordering from another state. I only plant 2 tomatoes – usually Bonnie Better Boy & an heirloom (ordered from White Flower Farm. And sweet peppers — all planted in HUGE containers. I now will come to you — right around the corner❗️Love your newsletter❗️Thank you so much❗️??????
