First I want to welcome all the folks who subscribed to Buffalo-NiagaraGardening.com this past week at Lockwood’s Fall Garden Festival and at the 47th annual rally of the Western New York Gas and Steam Engine Association. I’ll work hard to keep you up to date with gardening information in Western New York.
In fact, I’m in the midst of making some changes to the website to make it more streamlined and more useful to readers. I’ll tell you more about those changes in upcoming weeks.
In the meantime, please take a few minutes to explore the site. Click on the ads to the right and you’ll get more information on local gardening businesses and nonprofits.
Below the ads are topics. Look for particular categories that interest you. Do you have problems with deer or rabbits eating your plants? Click on “Pests and weeds” and you’ll see past articles that give tips on dealing with critters and weeds.
If you’re interested in a specific word such as “deer,” type it in the search box, located just above the topics. You’ll get a list of articles that mention that word.
While I’m welcoming new readers, I also want to thank all of you who already subscribe and stopped by our table to say hello. Your enthusiasm is energizing! Thank you so much for your support. I really appreciate it.
If you have any suggestions for Buffalo-NiagaraGardening.com, feel free to leave a comment or email me at connie@buffalo-niagaragardening.com. I’d love to hear from you!

Thanks. I was very pleased with it. There were lots of bees and other bugs, so I had lots of chances to get a good shot.
Great bee photo. Always glad to see the bees.
