Community Soil Testing

Soil testing supports the growth and expansion of community and home gardens by protecting the health and safety of the food produced in these gardens. In partnership with Cornell Cooperative Extension Harvest NY, the NYS Department of Agriculture & Markets (AGM), and the Cornell Soil Health Lab, eligible, food-producing community and home gardens in New York State can receive a comprehensive soil test for no charge.
