What’s Bugging Your Garden: The Good, the Bad, and the Not-So-Ugly!

June 10 @ 7:00 pm 8:00 pm

Join us for a free talk, open to everyone, about the insects you may discover in your garden! Dr. Gall will consider insects that are beneficial in-home gardens (“The Good”) including pollinators like bees, and biological controls like aphidlions, parasitic wasps, and ground beetles. He then will segue to garden pests (“The Bad”) like lily leaf beetle, Japanese beetle, and tobacco hornworm. He will then conclude with garden visitors that are just downright beautiful (“The Not So Ugly”) like hummingbird moth, cecropia moth, monarch butterfly and other members of the milkweed community.
