“Climate Action and Sustainability in Erie County” will be presented to Smallwood Garden Club by Tracy Skalski and Sandra Notaro on Monday, June 17th at 7 pm at Faith United Church Of Christ, 1300 Maple Road, Amherst. They will address the county’s commitment to create a more sustainable region. Guests are welcome.
“Fairy Gardens: Feel Like a Kid Again,” a program on the creation, care and enjoyment of fairy gardens, will be presented by several Smallwood Garden Club members at 7pm Monday, May 20th at Faith United Church of Christ, 1300 Maple Road, Amherst. Guests are welcome.
Smallwood Garden Club plant sale will be on Saturday, May 18th from 9am-2pm at Faith United Church of Christ, 300 Maple Road, Amherst. The sale will be indoors. The club is offering perennial pass-alongs, unusual annuals, herbs, garden treasures and more. Expert gardeners will be available to answer questions.
Award winner floral designer Dorothy Julius will present “Think Green, Think Spring,” a program on decorating with natural materials, recycling, and gardening tips to Smallwood Garden Club on Monday, April 15 at 7pm at Faith United Church of Christ, 1300 Maple Road, Amherst. Guests are welcome.
Francis Kowsky, renowned historian and author of “The Best Planned City in the World: Olmsted, Vaux and the Buffalo Park System," will speak to Smallwood Garden Club on the importance of landscape design and historic preservation.
