Judith Niemira, the president of the African Violet and Gesneriad Society of Western New York, sent me this reply to your question: “The question was if this program is on general hydroponics or was specific to violets and gesneriads (the family to which African violets belong). The answer is… we’ll see! We have never had a presentation on hydroponics and the lovely lady who is doing it has not presented specifically to violet clubs before. So we are working together to have this program be as specific to our needs as possible. We have given her a list of topics we would like to have covered and she will be bringing samples of products to the meeting I am sorry that I can not be more specific than this right now.”
