This year’s World on Your Plate Conference will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6 and 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7 in Wick Student Center at Daemen College, 4380 Main St., Amherst.
Speakers will include Arturo Rodriguez, president of the United Farm Workers, and Linda Black Elk, an ethnobotanist.
The event will feature workshops and a vegetarian organic lunch.
