Plentiful Partnership of Niagara will hold a workshop and dinner on gleaning from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 26 at the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Niagara County 4H Training Center, 4487 Lake Ave, Lockport.
The workshop will include 2014 season updates and plans for 2015 as well as a complimentary Farm to Table Dinner by The Catering Crew, featuring gleaned items.

Gleaning is collecting leftover crops from farmers’ fields after they have been commercially harvested.
Plentiful Partnership of Niagara (PPN) is a collaborative effort among Cornell Cooperative Extension of Niagara County (CCE), the Food Bank of WNY, Niagara Community Action Program, Inc. (NICAP), Niagara County farmers and area institutions. PPN aims to reduce food insecurity, alleviate hunger, keep Niagara County produce local and connect local farmers to area distribution systems.
