The Buffalo Audubon Society will host Nature’s Art Box: winter solstice sun applique from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21 at Beaver Meadow, 1610 Welch Road, Java Center.
Participants will enjoy some warm wassail (spiked or unspiked) and learn some basic stitching techniques of felt applique. Each participant will go home with a lovely sun applique that can be hung on a string or worn as a pin to welcome the return of light. This program is for adults.
