Reinstein Woods Nature Preserve and Environmental Education Center will hold a Winter Solstice celebration at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21 at Reinstein Woods, 93 Honorine Drive, Depew.
Enjoy a lantern-led evening walk to celebrate the longest night and the return of light. Participants will Discover solstice traditions from around the world, search for nocturnal animals and end the evening with warm drinks and snacks. There is a material fee of $5 per person. Children ages 5 and younger will be free. Registration is required, call 716-683-5959. to sign up.
