“Autumn in your Yard and Garden: To Do and Not To Do” will be presented by Sally Cunningham, gardening consultant, at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 23 at Lockwood’s Greenhouses, 4484 Clark St., Hamburg.
Cunningham will discuss which plants may need protection, how to get woody plants ready for winter, what perennials to cut back, choosing and planting bulbs for spring, watering and fertilizer choices, making new beds, and how to improve your vegetable or flower garden soil for next year. She will include tips for keeping (or letting go of) annuals and tropical plants. All questions are welcome.
The fee is $10.
