The Western New York Iris Society generally meets at 1:30 p.m. on the first Sunday of the month at the Lancaster Library, 5466 Broadway, Lancaster.
Note that this is a new meeting location.
The territory that the Western New York Iris Society covers has expanded to include all of Western New York and Ontario.
At upcoming meetings, a 45-minute presentation will be given on various classes of irises that grow in our area. There will also be general gardening tips and a social time following the presentations.
Sunday, February 3: Joanne will speak on Japanese and Louisiana Iris.
Thursday, March 3: Annette will speak on Miniature Dwarf Bearded (MDB) and Standard Dwarf Bearded (SDB) Iris.
Sunday, May 5: Velma will speak on Iris reticulata.
