A watercolor workshop called “Rocky Way” will be held from1 to 4 p.m. Thursday, April 7 in the Administration Building at the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens, 2655 South Park Ave., Buffalo.
The cost is $40 for the public and $36 for members.
Chiseled rocks, smooth rocks, rocks of many sizes and colors alongside water create exciting challenges for watercolorists. The instructor will guide you through the techniques that will help you be successful in painting rock formations in interesting ways. This three-hour workshop is led by Deanna Weinholtz.
This is an intermediate watercolor class and is suitable for anyone 16 and older with an understanding of color theory and design.
