Colorful Landings, a watercolor painting workshop, will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday, July 14 at the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens, 2655 South Park Ave., Buffalo.
Inspiration comes from many places and the photo the class will be painting from is truly inspiring. This is your chance to let your watercolor painting become looser from using a combination of wet in wet as well as wet in dry techniques. The bee that has landed on the center of the flower will become the star of the show as it drinks in the color of the surrounding flowers.
This is an intermediate watercolor class and is suitable for anyone 16 and older with an understanding of color theory and design. This onsite class will be held at the Botanical Gardens in the Administration Building.
