The Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens is offering Watercolor IV – Dream It, Design It, Paint It from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesdays from Sept. 28 to Nov. 2.
The classes will be held online.
The fee is $117 per series for the public and $105.30 per series for Botanical Gardens members.
How many times do we look at a photo we would love to paint, but something just doesn’t look right? This class will lead you through designing a composition that will make your painting more successful than the actual photo. Deanna Weinholtz will explain the elements of design and how to apply them to a composition. The class will then use a photo supplied by the instructor to create better compositions and then choose one to paint in watercolor. This design class is one of the prerequisites to move up to Masters Level Series Classes.
