When spring comes early and winter doesn’t want to give up, snow-filled blossoms give us a gorgeous subject to paint. In this series class we will be painting the branches of a nectarine tree with its stunning pink blossoms trying to survive through the snow that has landed on them.
Please review the supply list to purchase before the start of class.
341 – November 17 – Students will receive their photo reference before the first class (or use one of their own that fulfills the class subject). Each student should have the subject drawn on watercolor paper before the first class. In the first class, apply masking fluid and start to paint an abstract background.
342 – December 1 – Branches and leaves are painted along with background blossoms. Focal point blossoms are started.
343 – December 8 – Focal point blossoms are completed and snow is added.
344 – December 15 – Final details are added to paintings. Remaining questions addressed.
