10:00 am - 2:30 pm
Botanical Gardens volunteers meet friendly people, learn more about plants and provide support for the Gardens’ ever-growing programs. Volunteers may train as a horticulture volunteer and work inside and outside the greenhouses or they may choose to help maintain the facilities with carpentry, electrical and maintenance work. Volunteers can also help with administrative support and computer tasks or work in the gift shop or admissions. Training as an education volunteer means providing hands-on activities for visitors of all ages. Finally, there are volunteers that help with special events and weddings.
Volunteers must RSVP by March 4 for the orientation. To sign up, contact Karen Hammer, program and volunteer coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 827-1584 ext. 207.
