A workday will be held from 2:30 to 5 p.m. Thursday, May 4 in the Pelion Community Garden, 206 Best St., Buffalo.
It is one of the community gardens of Grassroots Gardens WNY. The gardens can always use extra help, especially if you’re handy. If you are interested in helping out regularly or just once, by yourself or with a group, at one garden or throughout our network as needed, contact them at (716) 783-9653 or gardens@grassrootsgardens.org.
For all garden workdays, please come dressed to work. Take a pair of garden gloves, water, trash bags and small tools if you have them.
