Tree Trek at Botanical Gardens

A Tree Trek will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 30 at the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens, 2655 South Park Ave., Buffalo.

Celebrate Arbor Day weekend by getting to know some common and unique trees in their collection. The Botanical Gardens is home to a nationally recognized arboretum with over 100 species of trees and shrubs.

Joe Mannion, Director of Horticulture for the Botanical Gardens, will take participants on a lively walking tour showcasing some collection highlights, share the basics of tree identification and more.

This Gardens Exclusive includes general admission to the Botanical Gardens, a tree guidebook and a walking tour of trees both indoors and outside in the surrounding landscape.

Wear comfortable shoes/boots that you don’t mind getting muddy. This walk takes place rain or shine.
