The “Garlic Guy,” Tom Szulist, will give a free presentation at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7 at Lockwood’s Greenhouses, 4484 Clark St., Hamburg.
Szulist will talk about growing and using garlic and its role in maintaining optimal health and building your immune system. October is the best time to plant garlic, and he will show you many varieties you can plant.
This event is free because Szulist believes this knowledge should be made available to everyone and even encourages you to grow and harvest your own garlic seasonally.
Tart cherry juice concentrate has also made headlines for its pain management and immune system boosting benefits. Szulist’s garlic and tart cherry juice concentrate are available at Lockwood’s Greenhouses.
