The East Side Momentum Tour will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12.
The cost is $25 and includes round-trip transportation, tour guides, tip, water, fruit, and cookies.
Registration is available online.
Transportation is via non-air-conditioned school bus with rest stops taken at the start and end of tour.
Pick-up will be at Flying Bison Brewery, 840 Seneca St., Buffalo. There is free parking on site.
The tour introduces the diverse, often overlooked individual and community projects that have multiplied in this area of Buffalo. Stops will include the None Like You/We Care community group, Farmer Pirates creating urban farms, a Buddhist community center garden, Pelion Community Garden at City Honors School and the Wilson Street farm. A project organizer will be at each site to answer questions.
