Pub Talks on Science Topics will be held at 7:30 p.m. every other Thursday. There will be a different topic each session.

These talks will be held online during the pandemic. A Zoom link will be sent to registrants prior to the session. Register here. 

  • June 4- The Mating Game: The Secret Sex Lives of Local Wildlife (Speaker: Dayna Jorgenson, Director of Live Animals, Cayuga Nature Center, a public education venue of the Paleontological Research Institution)
  • BONUS WEDNESDAY SESSION June 10- Crayfish: the good, the bad, and the yummy (Dr. Chris Pennuto, WNY PRISM Director and SUNY Buffalo State College)
  • June 18- Saving the College Lodge Forest near Fredonia (Speaker: Jajean Rose-Burney, Deputy Executive Director, Western New York Land Conservancy
  • TENTATIVE July 2- “I’m ashamed I believed this stuff”- Insights from people who changed their minds about climate change (specific date TBD)
