Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper will hold its annual Spring Sweep from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 22.
Join volunteers around Western New York and throughout the Great Lakes region in removing litter from shorelines and protecting our local waterways. Each year, volunteers work together to collect over 20,000 pounds of trash in what is Western New York’s largest single-day cleanup. There are nearly 40 Spring Sweep spots around the Niagara River watershed to choose from.
With everyone working together just two hours, we can have a huge impact. You’ll also be participating in the larger Great Lakes CleanUP, led by Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper, to make a positive contribution in protecting our waters across all the Great Lakes.
Register here to help clean a specific site. Each site has limited spots available.
