Tim Russert's Children's Garden
The South Buffalo Alive garden walk will be held from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Sunday, July 17.
Maps for the tour can be picked up at the Tim Russert’s Children’s Garden, 2002 South Park Ave., Buffalo.
The tour requests a $2 donation and is self-guided.
The tour will feature the Frederick Law Olmsted-designed Cazenovia Park and South Park; McKinley and McClellan circles, which were renovated as part of the 2013 LEAF a Legacy project; Buffalo & Erie County Botanical Gardens, and Our Lady of Victory Basilica.
There will also be a farmers market at Cazenovia Park in front of the casino from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
More than 60 gardens will be featured in South Buffalo Alive including pool-side settings, ponds and waterfalls, veggie plots, train gardens and fairy gardens.
