South Buffalo Alive will be held from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, July 19.

Pick up maps in Tim Russert’s Children’s Garden, 2002 South Park Ave., Buffalo.

Approximately 60 gardens will be featured in South Buffalo Alive’s Garden Walk Tour. Many front-only and many more with water falls, train gardens, neighbors sharing gardens. Follow the Irish Heritage Trail, view the carving of Chauncy Olcott, writer of Irish ballads, in front of the Buffalo Irish Center and a carving of Red Jacket at the corner of Cazenovia and Seneca Streets. Stop to see the garden at the Mother Catherine McAuley, founder of the Mercy Order, located in the “quiet Grotto” on Choate Ave. next to Mercy Hospital.
