Smudge Stick Workshop

Date(s) - Thursday, Sep 24, 2020
6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

The Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens is offering a new online Smudge Stick Workshop from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 24. The same class will be repeated on Thursday, Nov. 5.

Smudging is native to indigenous peoples and has been practiced for centuries within many countries and cultures around the world. Wrapping sacred herbs together with positive intentions is a very special part of creating a space filled with peace, positive energy and clarity.

Join Courtney Elle of Elle James as she virtually helps you wrap your own smudge stick in the comfort of your own home! You’ll have a chance to ask questions and discuss the purposes and techniques used for the wonderful elements included in your DIY kit as you wrap your sticks together in this fun and interactive workshop.

This class will be offered via Zoom Meeting, a free online audio-visual platform.

Curbside pick-up for materials will be from 4:30-5:30 pm the day of class.

The cost is $40 for the general public and $36 for Botanical Gardens members.
