Date(s) - Saturday, Jun 24, 2017
11:00 am - 12:00 pm
Mary Lu Wells, Cornell Cooperative Extension master gardener, will lead a workshop on second sowing from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 24 at Tinkertown Hardware, 833 State Route 244, Alfred Station.
Soon it will be mid-summer, late July. Peas, spinach, lettuce, beets, cabbage, and broccoli will be long gone from your garden. The rows stand empty awaiting the weeds. Mid-summer is the time to sow the other half of the garden.
Participants will learn how to plant now and harvest long into the fall.
Space and free seeds are limited. To sign up, Contact Colleen Cavagna at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 585-268-7644 ext. 12.
