Tifft Nature Preserve will hold a new science discovery series for adults on the second Tuesday of the month.
The first session will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12 at Tifft, 1200 Fuhrmann Blvd., Buffalo. It will be a hands-on workshop and walk focusing on the alien plant and animal invaders in your own backyard.
Meet local nature-enthusiasts, share your interests and learn something new. Light refreshments included.
The cost is $12 per participant; Buffalo Museum of Science members save 10 percent.
