Students must be accepted by a recognized, accredited college or university in New York State to study horticulture, botany or a related field. Related fields may include but are not limited to agriculture, entomology, environmental sciences, environmental engineering, forestry, genetics, food technology, landscape design, sustainable agriculture, urban geography and urban planning.
Applications must be received by 4 p.m. Friday, April 3 in the Cornell Cooperative Extension Office.
Completed applications must be submitted by mail to the Cornell Cooperative Extension Erie County office, Master Gardener College Scholarship, 21 S. Grove St., East Aurora, NY 14052.
